Is organ transplant/ viral hepatitis, birth defects, congenital diseases and deformities etc covered under Amanak Plans?

Abovementioned conditions are excluded under Amanak Plan. Please refer to the policy wording for complete list of exclusions.

Am I Covered outside UAE?

Yes, Amanak Chrome Plan offers coverage for inpatient treatment outside UAE (Home Country excluding USA and Canada).

How do I submit my claims?

Claim can be submitted either through Daman mobile app or Daman website.

I am currently insured under DHA/DoH compliant plans. Will the COC of this plan waive the waiting period applied under Amanak plan?

No, waiting period is still applicable under Amanak plan. Member need to serve applicable waiting period from the enrolment date under this plan to be eligible for coverage of pre-existing conditions.

Is a medical report required for members during plan enrollment?

Medical reports are required in below mentioned scenarios:

• For members 55 years and above

• For child age up to 6 months

• If requested specifically to evaluate your application

Are pre-existing conditions covered under the Amanak Chrome Plan plan?

Yes, pre-existing conditions are covered under the Amanak Chrome Plan plans up to specified limit and with waiting period.

Can I also include my family in the Amanak Chrome Plan plan?

Yes, you can include families in the Amanak Chrome Plans provided, subject to plan eligibility criteria’s. Newborn is excluded under these plans.

Where can I buy my Amanak Chrome Plan plans?

You can buy a Amanak Chrome Plan plan at our Branches or with the help of our partner brokers.

As a company owner, what benefits do I get from Amanak Chrome Plan?

• There are three different plans options under Amanak Chrome – Plan 1, Plan 2 and Plan 3.

• You can opt for a plan based upon benefits and premium.

• Pocket-friendly plans, starting at AED 352.

Who is eligible for Amanak Chrome?

Companies with 11 employees up to 1,000 members.

How do I know if I am eligible for Value Choice?

If you’re a Company with up to 10 employees and their dependents (including investors), then you qualify for our Value Choice health insurance plans.

As a company owner, what benefits do I get from Value Choice?

  • There are three different plan options under Value Choice – Gold, Silver, Bronze.
  • You can customize your plan by selecting the benefits and the coverage limit. These include network, territory, optical, dental and many more.
  • It is a pocket-friendly plan with co-insurance and other cost sharing options

Where can I buy my Value Choice plan?

You can buy a Value Choice plan at Daman branches, from the Daman website or with the help of our insurance brokers

Can I also include my family in the Value Choice plan?

Yes, we can include families in the Value Choice plans provided you are a dependent, and/or the principals are a part of the company as defined in the eligibility criteria.

Is a medical report required for members during plan enrolment?

Yes, medical reports are required in below mentioned scenarios, such as:

  • For members 61 years and above
  • For newborns up to 6 months of age
  • As and when requested by Daman

Are pre-existing conditions covered under the value Choice plan?

Yes, pre-existing conditions are covered under the Value Choice plan up to a specified limit, if you have declared the same in your application form

What is the maximum number of Value Choice plans allowed under each Company policy?

Up to a maximum of two Plan Choices (Categories) can be opted for under your Value Choice plan, subject to having a clear categorization criterion based on hierarchy. Please note, principals and dependents will need to be enrolled in the same category.

If a member has a NAS network, do they still need to contact Daman for any escalation, or should they contact NAS directly?

For any complaints, members need to directly contact the NAS through following channels:

How do I submit my claims?

In case your plan is under the Daman network, you can submit your claim either through the Daman mobile app or the Daman website

How do I know I qualify for Uselect?

If you’re a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) with 11 – 150 employees, then you qualify for our Uselect health insurance plans.  

As an SME owner, what benefits do I get from Uselect?

  • It is pocket-friendly with co-pay and cost sharing options
  • You can customize your plans by selecting the benefits and the coverage limit for each. These include network, territory, optical, dental and many more.

Where can I buy a Uselect plan?

You can buy a Uselect plan at Daman branches, online through the website and with the help of insurance brokers. You can also reach us through our call center 24/7 on 600-5-32626 or email us at [email protected] and we will ask one of our sales representatives to contact you.

Can I buy Uselect plans for me and my family?

Uselect plans are designed for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) only. Individuals and families can go for any of Daman’s Individual Health Insurance plans here.

How many plan options are offered under Uselect?

There are 3 different plan options under Uselect. Under each plan, you can choose from a variety of module options – from territory and annual limits to network selection, dental & optical coverage and many more.

Can I request for additional benefits under the Uselect plan?

At the time of application, you can request to add dental and optical benefits. Keep in mind, optical can only be opted if you have opted in for dental.

Are pre-existing conditions covered under the Uselect plan?

Yes, pre-existing conditions are covered up to annual limit. For members without continuity of coverage (CoC) in the UAE, coverage is up to AED 250,000.

Is a medical report required for members during plan enrollment?

A medical report will only be required for members aged 65 years and above.

Is the medical check-up benefit covered under the Uselect plan?

Yes, the medical check-up benefit is offered across all Uselect plans.
